Valencia High School Students Recognized by National Center for Women & Information Technology

Fourteen students from Valencia High School have earned prestigious accolades from the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT), a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing the meaningful participation of girls and women in computing fields. As part of NCWIT’s Aspirations in Computing (AiC) program, multiple students were honored for their achievements in technology and computing.

Among the recipients, senior Leila Armand, a participant in both the International Baccalaureate and Val Tech programs, received special recognition. In addition to being named an Affiliate Winner for the Orange County region, Armand earned an Honorable Mention at the national level—an exceptional distinction that highlights her contributions and promise in the field of computing.
