Lakeview Elementary School fifth graders enjoyed a fun STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) activity the other day. Their task was to create the longest marble that they could using paper towel tubes. They spent time planning and discussing their structures in groups, adjusting their plan to make sure the marble would make it all the way down their path, and then each group tested their marble run.
