On Thursday, October 30, El Camino Real High School hosted its first annual Fall Festival, welcoming students and their families for an evening of connection and celebration. Guests enjoyed a complimentary dinner served by the administrative team and participated in a variety of fall-themed activities throughout the night. Families had the opportunity to take festive photos with a fall backdrop, play Lotería, and contribute to the school’s “Thankful Tree” by sharing messages of gratitude. Students from the Leadership Class also provided face painting for children, adding to the evening’s festive atmosphere.
Teacher-led sessions featured hands-on activities such as pumpkin painting, cookie decorating, slime making, and graham cracker haunted house construction. These activities encouraged creativity and collaboration among families in a fun and relaxed environment. More than twenty student volunteers contributed to the event’s success, ensuring that all activities ran smoothly and that guests felt welcomed throughout the evening.
The highlight of the event was witnessing families engaged in activities together and building lasting memories. The Fall Festival reflected El Camino Real’s ongoing commitment to fostering strong family and community partnerships. Plans are already underway for a similar event in the spring to continue this meaningful tradition.
