El Dorado student programmer Kimberly Gottula has project featured on MIT website

During the past few week in an El Dorado High School computer science class, students have been working with the programming language “Scratch” through a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) website.

Kimberly Gottula is one of just two girls in class, and the project she created has been featured on MIT’s website.

As of this posting, there are over 30,000 views. Additionally, there are over 1,900 comments, over 1,400 people have “favorited” it and over 1,900 people have “loved” it.
