Venture Academy Adult Transition Choir Showcases Growth and Confidence at Concert of Love

On February 26, the Venture Academy Adult Transition Choir performed at the El Dorado High School Performing Arts Center, presenting an inspiring and motivational program that reflected students’ commitment, perseverance, and artistic growth.

Since October, members of the Venture Academy Adult Transition Choir have prepared for the Concert of Love with dedication and enthusiasm. Following auditions, students participated in weekly rehearsals, increasing to multiple practices per week during the final month as they worked collaboratively to strengthen their musical performance skills and build confidence. Notable contributions included the impressive high vocal range demonstrated by Michaela John, the smooth and expressive voice of Drew Thompson, and the leadership of Nataniel Cirt, which helped guide the ensemble throughout the evening. A brief choreographed dance segment performed by Nathanael Huante, Pedro Souza, and Elizabeth Salgado added a joyful and engaging element to the program.

The Concert of Love served as a heartfelt showcase of student talent, collaboration, and determination. The performance highlighted how participation in the performing arts empowers Venture Academy Adult Transition students to build confidence, express themselves creatively, and develop meaningful connections with their community.
