On Sunday, March 15, Students from Orange County School of Computer Science (OCSCS) at Bernardo Yorba Middle School had the opportunity to participate in the REACH Foundation’s annual Shamrock ‘N Run event. This beloved community tradition provided a meaningful platform for students in the OCSCS Innovation Lab to showcase their creativity, technical skills, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Arriving early in the morning, students prepared and displayed their handmade products, engaging with more than 1,000 event attendees throughout the day. Their participation highlighted not only their innovation and craftsmanship but also their confidence in communicating ideas and connecting with the broader community.
Eighth-grade students Daisy Bagga and DJ Moreno showed their enthusiasm and professionalism, skillfully interacting with visitors and sharing the inspiration behind their work. Their efforts exemplify the real-world learning experiences fostered through OCSCS programs.
OCSCS extends its sincere gratitude to the REACH Foundation for making this opportunity possible, as well as to the many volunteers who contributed their time and energy to ensure the event’s success.
