Parkview’s Aaron Nagao wins state wrestling competition

Aaron Nagao is a 14-year-old eighth grader at Parkview School. He started wrestling at the age of 10 to help build confidence, discipline and physical strength. Aaron loved it, and has been training ever since. He currently wrestles in the 100 pound weight division, but moves up in age and weight at local tournaments to gain more experience.

Aaron has always been a high achiever, maintaining straight A’s while taking honors classes. He’s been the recipient of many academic awards as well, including the principal’s honor roll and the president’s award.

Aaron’s future wrestling goals are to become a high school state champion, along with striving to be a world or Olympic champion. He currently wrestles in a program at Esperanza High School. He recently won the State of California Wrestling Alliance for the Youth (SCWAY) Championship.

Aaron has very big dreams along with the mindset that if he works really hard, he can achieve anything. Parkview is very proud of Aaron!
