Dr. Anderson visits Rose Drive third graders for a lesson on animal adaptations

Rose Drive Elementary School third graders in Mrs. Fast and Mrs. Thorp’s class were recently treated to an informative, hands-on lesson to tie in with their current science studies on the structures of life. The only difference with this lesson, however, was that the teacher happened to be student Ella Anderson’s mom, Dr. April Anderson, who has her Ph.D. in biological science. Rose Drive could not think of a more skilled and knowledgeable teacher for this subject matter. Students learned about an array of habitats, as well as how animals adapt to their ever-changing surroundings as they compete for survival. Thank you, Dr. Anderson, for being so willing to share your expertise, and for offering such an enriching lesson on animal adaptations. The students learned so much!
