Wednesday, April 13, was Volunteer Appreciation Day at Rose Drive Elementary School, and what better way to say thank you to the team of parent volunteers than with a morning of relaxation and sweet treats? Parent volunteers were invited to stop by in the morning and afternoon to spend some time relaxing on the school’s staff patio over a cup of tea or coffee with friends. This was, naturally, a mere token of the school’s heartfelt appreciation for everything these volunteers do for the Rose Drive staff, students and families. The school is so very appreciative and grateful for their tireless involvement, enthusiasm and energy – they could not accomplish everything they do without parent volunteers!
