New logo for Esperanza’s rebranded engineering and manufacturing program

The school district has developed a new logo to represent the new vision and direction of Esperanza High School’s Aztec Engineering and Manufacturing (AEM) Academy.

The Academy will continue to support the core values that have garnered Esperanza the PRIME (Partnership Response in Manufacturing Education) designation from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Esperanza is one of only six high schools in California to have this prestigious designation.

In support of expanding and enhancing AEM, PYLUSD has secured $8.3 million dollars in Career Technical Education (CTE) grants to support all six of the district’s CareerLink Academies, with $1 million already earmarked specifically for AEM, and more to come.
