Congratulations to Valencia High School robotics team coach Hope Conant for being awarded the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) Foundation Teacher of Excellence Award. The SAMPE award recognizes outstanding K-12 teachers for inspiring students in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields. The award also came with $500 to further support her efforts working with the VHS robotics team, the TiGears.
