Professional baseball players, El Dorado graduates take part in fundraiser

On Monday, Oct. 17, between 70 and 80 people participated in a golf tournament fundraiser for the El Dorado High School baseball team. The benefit helps the team pay for stipends, as well as field maintenance. Pictured (L-R): Jordan DeJong ’97, Bret Boone ’87, Phil Nevin ’89, Coach Steve Gullotti, Matt Luke ’89 and Brett Tomko ’92. Between these five alumni are over 40 years of professional Major League Baseball (MLB) experience. El Dorado’s amazing baseball program has produced incredibly talented men who are always willing to give back to their community.
