Earlier this week, superheroes from the El Dorado High School drama department gave a performance at Golden Elementary School featuring the message, “Superheroes Say No to Bullies and Peer Pressure!” Superhero “Hindsight Girl” helped students understand that they have the power to influence what happens to them in their lives. Golden students learned to use their power to influence friends to support someone who is being bullied, and to make good choices about drugs and alcohol. The skits, written and performed by El Dorado students, engaged Golden students, and left an impression that will last long after the Red Ribbon Week celebration ends. Thanks to Mrs. Kathleen Switzer and all the El Dorado drama students for an amazing production! These talented writers and actors included Chloe Burns, Andie Doyle, Krista Eliot, Maddy Fink, Talmage Harris, Geri Henderson, Janna Mabalatan, Rhianna McConnell, Michael Nickel, Kelli Nilsen, Nicole Rader, Siobhan Sahadat, Cailey Staggs, Zach Taylor, Isabel Villegas, Karsyn VonAchen, Tyler Wilridge and Jenna Young.
