On Tuesday, Nov. 1, Bernardo Yorba Middle School’s advanced drama program teamed up with students in the vocal ensemble and concert choir to perform “The Bully Chronicles,” a one-hour show designed to put the spotlight on bullying, encourage students to find their voices and take a stand against the hurtful behaviors that affect so many children.
Students in advanced drama wrote four scripts for the show, emphasizing the power of the individual to stop bullying. Some skits were comedic, others dramatic and all had a powerful message. Packaged with upbeat and relevant songs, this performance was music to our ears!
