On Thursday, Jan. 19, Topaz Elementary School hosted an AVID parent night in the multipurpose room. Parents came to hear about the AVID program, as well as what makes a Title I school special. During the presentation, parents participated in the “class” like they were AVID students, completing AVID cheers, engaging in partner talk, sharing out and having fun completing the “Successful Parent” activity!
