As a culminating project to the FOSS (Full Option Science System) magnetism and electricity unit (thanks to Jenner Rasic), fourth and fifth grade students in Dr. Chipman’s science class at Parkview School were able to engineer and build their own “City of Lights.” Students designed buildings and homes out of cereal boxes, and connected lights to the windows and doors. Then, they completed a circuit in order to illuminate their building.
