Rio Vista Elementary School is thankful to have a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) lab at school. Recently, third graders in Mr. Martinez’s class worked at different STEM lab stations, and learned about undersea adventures, forces, animals, weather and climate, 3-D dinosaurs, and ecology. Each station has a tub with a number of different operations to perform using magnifying glasses, microscopes, fans, puzzles and books. Students are learning to work together using hands-on activities.
