Congratulations to Valencia High School teacher Dr. Sam Myovich for receiving a Stanford University Teacher Tribute. Dr. Myovich was nominated by former Tiger, Saw Kyaw, for playing a significant role in his intellectual, academic, and personal development. Saw is a member of Stanford University’s Class of 2022.
Saw wrote, “Dr. Myovich as a teacher cultivated me into the student and person I am. He is an inspiration- a person of such strong passion, incredible character, unshakable principles, and seemingly infinite intellect. Hearing him speak about the power of words, the beauty of writing, and the importance of communication instilled within me those very values. His passion is contagious, and I hope that I can carry myself as he has, courageously into the future, and uncompromising of principle and purpose.”
