On Friday, Oct. 14, and Saturday, Oct. 15, El Dorado High School celebrated its 50th anniversary.
The Golden Jubilee included special recognitions at the homecoming football game on Friday, followed by a campus-wide open house on Saturday. The open house featured food, boosters, clubs and teams, as well as performances in the district’s Performing Arts Center (PAC) by alumni jazz musicians, the dance team, alumni dancers, the theatre group, vocal ensemble and girls chorus, and the EDHS orchestra.
Hundreds of current and former students, teachers and staff members took a walk down memory lane to see how El Dorado changed over the years. Guests had the opportunity mingle, sign their names on a memory wall and take pictures with friends throughout campus.
