Glenview Elementary School second grader scholars demonstrated their oral language, research, and writing skills by presenting on a specific hero of choice for Hero Day.
Students created presentation posters highlighting key details and timelines of their heroes. They also dressed in costume and special attire to represent a wide range of national heroes such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, the Wright Brothers, Amelia Earhart, and Neil Armstrong, just to name a few.
On Hero Day, students presented their knowledge to parents and families by answering key questions about their special hero.
