Ten Valencia High School seniors have fulfilled the rigorous academic requirements of both the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma program and the Valencia Technology Academy including the 150 hour summer Val Tech Internship.
This is the biggest “dual diploma” class in the history of the school. All ten of these seniors: Armanul Ambia (CSUF Presidential Scholar), Justin Chen (UC Berkeley), Avery Eun (UC Berkeley), Christopher Leung (UCLA), Audrey Lin (Pepperdine), Curtis Liu (2019 Tiger of the Year, Williams College), Lauren Mard (UC Berkeley), Rohan Patel (The Ohio State University), Kellen Rivest (Cal Poly Pomona) and Bryce Tsuyuki (UC San Diego), completed the dual IB/VT diploma program with an over 4.00 weighted academic grade point average and many will earn over 300+ high school credits.
“We are very proud of these seniors and their achievements. We are also proud of our teachers and staff and the role they have played in the development of the Valencia Academy programs,” shared counselor Mark Stanley.
Congratulations, Tigers!
