Ruby Drive Elementary School’s Preppy K students are going strong this year — “Karate Strong.” Preppy K scholars are enjoying the opportunity to participate in a monthly karate lesson. Through these lessons, the young students are given a chance to practice gross motor skills, enjoy a memory game, practice self defense skills, and focus on a given topic each month. This month students learned about the meaning of courtesy and offered suggestions on how they could show courteous behaviors. Way to go, Ruby Drive!
