On December 7, Kraemer Middle School’s Science Olympiad program sent two teams to compete at the 8th Annual Churchill Science Olympiad Invitational competition in Sacramento. Most of the varsity team students placed in the top six in their events. Overall, the varsity team placed 3rd out of 33 competing schools.
“Kraemer is exceptionally proud of our students commitment and determination,” shared Principal Michael Young. “We also wanted to thank our Science Olympiad parents and former students who continue to develop and sustain the group’s overall performance and success.”
Science Olympiad is a scholastic competition where students compete in 23 events pertaining to various scientific disciplines including social science, earth and space science, physical science and chemistry, technology and engineering, and more. Each year, over 7,500 middle and high school teams from around the country compete in multiple levels of competition including regionals, states, and nationals.
