Valencia High School’s annual AVID Family Tailgate on Friday, October 27 was a huge success. Future Tigers from Kraemer Middle School and Valadez Middle School Academy joined the VHS AVID students and staff for a BBQ, games, and face painting before the football game. Students and families were treated to gourmet hot dogs served by the VHS administration, learned cheers courtesy of the VHS Cheer Squad, and joined fans in the stands at Bradford Stadium for another exciting VHS Tiger football game under the Friday night lights. This event is a highlight in the school’s fall semester as the Tigers get to connect with students, families, and future VHS students.
