The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) recently recognized schools across all levels for their outstanding efforts in student attendance through the “Attend to Achieve” campaign. Launched in February, the campaign aimed to improve attendance by tracking trends, offering targeted support, and reinforcing the importance of daily classroom engagement.
At the high school level, Yorba Linda High School earned Best Attendance, while Esperanza High School was recognized for Most Improved Attendance. Among middle schools, Tuffree Middle School received Best Attendance, and Yorba Linda Middle School was honored for Most Improved. At the elementary level, Golden Elementary School earned Best Attendance, with Topaz Elementary School recognized for Most Improved.
These achievements reflect the dedication of students, staff, and families in fostering a culture where consistent attendance supports academic success. The success of “Attend to Achieve” highlights the district’s belief that every day in the classroom counts.
