On Tuesday, October 14, Esperanza High School hosted its annual Future Ready Day, an event dedicated to helping students explore college and career pathways beyond high school. The day provided a comprehensive, hands-on experience to help ensure every Aztec graduate is prepared for success in their future endeavors.
During the event, seniors participated in Future Ready Day sessions, rotating through various locations on campus to engage in activities focused on college applications, financial aid, military pathways, and career planning. Juniors, Sophomores, and AVID 9 students attended the Out-of-State College Fair, where they met with representatives from colleges and universities across the nation to learn about admission requirements, programs of study, and campus life. Meanwhile, freshmen utilized their Health and Careers classes to explore college and career readiness platforms, setting the foundation for their long-term academic and professional goals.
Future Ready Day reflected Esperanza’s ongoing commitment to preparing every Aztec for success after high school, empowering students to make informed decisions about their future and take the next step on their college and career pathway.
