“Girls on the Run” running club at Mabel Paine finishes season with 5K

Mabel Paine Elementary School’s “Girls on the Run” running club, coached by teachers Brittany Bibeau and Elaine Weng, finished off their spring season with the traditional 5K run, sponsored by Girls on the Run Orange County and Asics. This year’s 5K theme was, “Be Your Own Hero!” Once again, the Mabel Paine team was highly competitive, and finished among the first group of runners. Way to go, girls and coaches! Girls rule!
