On Monday, Nov. 7, Esperanza High School honored two outstanding support staff members, Cynthia Connally and Ron Thompson, at the Orange County Athletic Directors Association’s (OCADA) annual dinner. Cynthia and Ron were honored for their tireless effort and countless hours they work to help Esperanza’s athletes and athletic program be the very best it can be. Cynthia is the athletic clerk, and ensures that all athletes have athletic clearance and scholastic eligibility, as well as making sure that the coaches get their paychecks. Ron works closely with the boys football team, ensuring their equipment is up-to-date and repaired in a timely manner. He sets up for all home athletic events, making sure each facility is up to Esperanza’s high standards for competition. These two members of the EHS athletic family are highly valued, and the school thanks them for everything they do!
