One of the many benefits of Preppy K is that, through play, students learn to cooperate, problem solve, communicate, share and create. In Mrs. Reynoso’s Preppy K class at Rio Vista Elementary School, this is exactly what happens during free choice centers. During this time, students become scientists as they discovery dinosaur fossils, artists as they create drawings or other crafty pieces, mathematicians as they sort and count manipulatives, and so much more! Preppy K provides many opportunities to experience cognitive, physical, social and emotional development, which are a perfect combination of skills needed for school and life.
