Valencia senior Valerie Narumi’s 3D-printed prosthetics exhibited at JPL event highlighting women

Congratulations to Valencia High School senior Valerie Narumi who was recently invited to exhibit her charitable 3D printing activities at the “Girls & Tech” event held at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) Theodore von Kármán Auditorium in Pasadena. Valerie presented her work to other high school and college students, and had opportunities to hear from women working at JPL.

Valerie has been actively 3D printing different prosthetics for a seven-year-old girl from the Pasadena area, and participating in e-NABLE community chapter meetings. Last year, she also received a $100 micro-grant from e-NABLE outreach to help purchase filament and other supplies to provide free prosthetics to her recipients.

Congrats Valerie, and go Tigers!
