Third and fourth grade students at Melrose Elementary School recently participated in a Water Assembly hosted by the Discovery Science Center. The Marlins were able to use interactive technology to respond to questions about California’s water. Students were also able to build an ecosystem and witness the effects on the ecosystem when a water resource is eliminated. In closing, students simulated the process of bringing ground water to sinks.
