George Key School students recently had the opportunity to make a REAL connection…with a Connect Four Tournament! Leading up to the event, students delivered notes from classroom to classroom which read, “You’re Going Down!” Each delivery was followed by a squeal of excitement from the students.
The students played preliminary rounds in their classrooms, and then finalists from each class met in the student kitchen for a show down.
Students went head to head in an intense battle for the Connect Four championship belt. In the end, Koranda’s Krushers were victorious in a final match with Chad’s Cheesy Chickens. The students and staff had a great time cheering each other on and watching Ryan take his victory lap.
Lindsay Aguilar and Joanna Keating-Velasco were responsible for organizing this fantastic school-wide event.
