On Monday, June 3, 2019, the Placentia Chamber of Commerce presented a grant for $1,000 to Yorba Linda High School teacher and academy coordinator, Samiya Hai.
Chamber representatives Joe Rasic, President, and Michelle Severson, Executive Director, were in attendance. The grant will be used towards purchasing inventory for the Mustang Business Academy’s (MBA) newly launched market.
Back in March, MBA opened their first-ever Mustang Market, a student store on wheels designed to sell custom YLHS merchandise and supplies to the school community. The market is also meant to educate students on the intricacies of owning and operating a functional business.
Thank you, Placentia Chamber of Commerce, for your continued generosity!
