El Dorado High School student Caleb Howden was awarded a scholarship for $180,000 today by the United States Marine Corps. Caleb plays both water polo and golf at EDHS and he is a strong student as well as a hard worker. Caleb also earned the distinction of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement or rank attainable in the Boy Scouts of America. He plans to attend Texas A & M in the fall and participate in the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps.
“We are excited to see Caleb continue his education and we are confident he will make an outstanding Marine!” Principal Joey Davis shared.
