Rose Drive Elementary School third graders are learning how to practice healthy living by making healthy food choices with instruction from “MyPlate,” a nutrition guide published by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Given the fact that they have been growing their own vegetables in Rose Drive’s school garden the last two months, we have a feeling they will be putting these healthy choices into action very soon as they get to taste the vegetables that appear to be “ripe for the picking,” so to speak!
