On the morning of Friday, Nov. 11, Yorba Linda High School senior Jessica Sardina gave a speech at the city of Placentia’s Veterans Day ceremony. Jessica is articulate, passionate and a dedicated Mustang. Additionally, Matthew Mortensen, a product of the district’s music program and an Eagle Scout, played “Taps” after a 21-gun salute. It is great to see so much student involvement in our community events!
