Recently, Chloe Ballenger-Apolo, a kindergarten student in Glenview Elementary School’s new Dual Language Academy, made the decision to help others on her birthday. She asked all of her birthday guests to bring her a toy … but the presents were not for her. On her special day, Chloe collected over 20 toys, and donated all of them to the McKinney-Vento homeless student program of PYLUSD. She was so excited to bring her gifts to the McKinney-Vento office at Topaz Elementary School. Thanks to Chloe and her mom Kathy for making Christmas special for so many children in the district. She really showed the Christmas spirit!
