On February 24, the Orange County School of Computer Sciences (OCSCS) hosted its inaugural Dual Language Academy (DLA) Lotería Night, La Lotería Más Toro, an evening designed to celebrate culture, creativity, and community engagement.
The event featured a collaborative effort between the DLA program and the Innovation Lab, during which families participated in games using custom, school-themed Lotería cards. Parents and students engaged collaboratively and competed for prizes, fostering meaningful interaction and school pride. The evening highlighted the importance of family partnership, cross-program collaboration, and the school’s commitment to culturally enriching, community-centered experiences that support and engage all students.
